Charles and Elizabeth Bernick probably never imagined their story would include so many chapters ... such an extensive cast of characters … and take so many exciting twists and turns. What started in 1916 as a one-person operation bottling homemade soda pop has grown into a thriving business with 650+ team members.

1950's: Continued Growth

Bernick’s drops the Dr Pepper franchise for the Pepsi-Cola franchise which was relatively unknown at the time.

Francis’s son Richard becomes manager and, together with brothers Roy and Ray, continues to grow the operation.

The Pepsi-Cola brand name increases in popularity.
